The Museum of Contemporary Craft (MOCC) Collection includes nearly 1,300 objects of modern and contemporary craft dating from 1937 — when the collection was inaugurated under the auspices of the Oregon Ceramic Studio — to the 2010s. Largely comprised of mid-20th century ceramics, the collection also includes works in clay, fiber, glass, metal, and wood from regional, national, and international artists and artisans.
The Hallie Ford Museum of Art acquired this extraordinary collection in 2021, upon the merger of the Pacific Northwest College of Art and Willamette University.
The MOCC Collection is being processed and is not currently available to view through the Museum’s online collections database. In the meantime, the collection can be explored via the PNCA Collections database.
